"During the internship, I did not only gain deep insight into the structures and procedures of a professional football club, but could also improve my hard and soft skills to a considerable extent", Oliver Eischet (BSc 2018) explains. "In general, I was surprised by the high responsibility that was given to me during the internship. Since the first day at FC Bayern, I felt as a full team member, which was highlighted by the high degree of autonomy within my project work."
During his 13-week internship Eischet was employed in the Department of International Marketing and International Strategy of FC Bayern. His tasks included the development and implementation of a reporting tool for the Chinese e-commerce business, the support of the project team as part of a comprehensive optimization project in the area of merchandising, and the evaluation of the product range as part of the implementation of a new online sales channel.
Christian Siemens (MSc 2018) was employed in the same department. "After all, the internship was a great way to link my professional skills with my personal interests with regard to football", Siemens explains. "The resulting intensive motivation has unfortunately left me with the feeling, that the internship ended way to fast."
